Green Industrial Facilities and Manufacturing Program (GIFMP)

Natural Resources Canada (NRCan)

NationalOther / multi-utilityClosed between intakes

What it pays

varies (no amounts stated on current program page)

Deadline: none stated on the source page

Cost-shared funding for energy-efficiency and energy-management projects at industrial facilities, including training, energy assessments and audits, and retrofit capital investments.

Who qualifies

Industrial Facility Track is open to all industrial sectors and facility sizes when an intake is running.

Summarized from the official page. This is not advice — the provider decides.

Status note, as recorded

Re-verified 2026-08-25: BOTH tracks (Industrial Facility and Energy Efficiency Solutions) still show status "Closed", with no reopening date published. Funding is released in periodic intakes, so treat this as "watch for the next intake" — and note that GIFMP money is currently reaching Ontario factories indirectly, because NRCan funds the industrial EMIS incentive inside the Save on Energy Retrofit program. MUST NOT appear in the homepage funding highlight.
