The sectors below are where we have done the most work, not the edge of what we do. If your factory uses water, power, gas or compressed air and has equipment that can fail, the playbook is the same one.

Which industries does Quantify Environmental work in?

Quantify Environmental works with food and beverage processing, general manufacturing, controlled environment agriculture, breweries and beverage, pharmaceutical and chemical, building materials and heavy industry — including concrete and aggregates — bulk handling and rail logistics, municipal and public utilities, and metal fabrication and finishing. The list describes where the work has been, not where it can go: the sensors and the method are the same wherever water, energy, compressed air and heavy equipment are.

Do you work with concrete, aggregate and building-materials factories?

Yes. Concrete, aggregates, cement and building materials are welcome and are a natural fit — batch plants, crushers, dryers and conveyors run large motors, large air systems and large water volumes, and most of them are metered once a month at the property line. The same wireless sensors that meter a dairy meter an aggregate operation, and the same overnight-baseline question is the first one worth asking.

What if our factory does not fit any of these sectors?

It almost certainly still fits. Every sector page on this site exists because a factory in it asked us the same question first: where is the money going, and why can nobody tell me until the bill arrives? If your factory uses water, electricity, natural gas or compressed air, and has equipment that can fail, the assessment works the same way. Call and describe the floor.

Most factories are two or three of these at once, and a few are none of them. A site walk sorts it out in an afternoon, and it costs nothing.
